So Bad, It's Rad: Chopping Mall
Local band Rad Max presents 1986’s cult horror/comedy Chopping Mall, in which robotic security guards go all Westworld in a shopping mall. (It was originally released under the title Killbots, which is also what they should’ve called Westworld.) Rad Max promises “antics” throughout, along with live performances of “rad wave dance rock before, during, and after”ย the film. It’s safe to say Chopping Mall has never before received this much enthusiastic adoration.
